5. Photocopy all significant papers for your future trip. Your Passport, traveler's cheques, credit cards , insurance documents and your flight tickets specifics.
It is a good concept to keep a set somewhere in your baggage when traveling. To be out of danger ; I always e-mail myself a set of copies - meaning: should I loose my documents, the copies will never be further from me than the nearest internet cafe.
